A family affair

Two-and-a-half years ago, at age 40 and after having her fourth baby, Susan Phillips wasn’t sure how she was going to keep up with her toddler son. “Our next youngest child was 19 – I had been a much more energetic mom with the first three,” she says.

At the time, Phillips had been trying to lose weight “with every fad diet out there,” but still found herself carrying extra pounds. At the same time, she took notice when her daughter-in-law started THRIVING. “She had so much energy that she was inspired to exercise and eat better,” Phillips says. After a while, her daughter-in-law had shed a noticeable amount of weight.

That’s when Phillips knew she had to try the THRIVE Experience. By the second day of following the three simple steps, she realized she needed the products in her life. “I woke up on Day 2, and I could feel the general discomforts leaving my body,” says Phillips.

On the third day, she had enough energy to do laundry after work. As a special-education teacher, she often came home and headed straight for the couch, but as soon as she started THRIVING, she found herself getting down on the floor to play with her son.

Her husband, who had also been lacking energy, decided to try the products, too. “After his first week, I found him outside trimming the bushes at 5 a.m.,” Phillips says. “I said to myself, ‘Who is this man?’”

Family members took notice and immediately placed their orders for THRIVE products. Over the next several months, 12 members of the Phillips family, including their oldest children, became THRIVERS. “It spread like crazy,” and many took advantage of the newfound energy they had with the THRIVE Experience to jumpstart weight-loss efforts. After a year of following an exercise plan and a healthy eating program that included reducing his sugar and carb intake, Phillips’ dad lost more than 100 pounds.

In February of 2021, Phillips posted a photo on social media and talked about her THRIVE journey. “People could see the energy in me radiating from the inside out,” she says, and more than 100 of her friends asked about the THRIVE Experience.

She decided to become a Promoter, and two months later, she hit her 12K VIP rank. That June, she earned her first Lifestyle Getaway, a trip to Puerto Vallarta. “We’re middle-class people who just look for a clean place when we travel – nothing fancy,” she says. So, Phillips was “blown away,” by the Getaway, where she and her husband received five-star treatment at a beautiful all-inclusive resort.

Now, Phillips is approaching her 80K rank. And while most of her family members are THRIVING, she says she can’t stop sharing the products with everyone she sees. “My goal is to tell everybody about the THRIVE Experience, from the postman to the grocery store clerk,” she says. “It makes me sad to think that people are missing out on this!”
