A Servant’s Heart

Promoter Chelsea Cooper felt like she was stuck in a black-and-white movie until she found THRIVE. Now, she’s living her life in color

Chelsea Cooper is a lot of different things. She’s a hockey wife. She’s a fur mama. She’s a new homeowner. But perhaps most notably, Cooper is a THRIVE Promoter who’s learned how to leverage her interests to be wildly successful.

“I sprinkle who I am into my business, and that’s been everything,” she says.

THRIVE came into Cooper’s life more than two years ago. A former personal trainer, she was working for another direct-sales company, but her enthusiasm was lackluster. “I’d been part of this other company for five years, because I desperately wanted my own business, but I felt like I had to push a product I only half believed in,” she says. “I was very unsatisfied. It was kind of like I was living my life in a black-and-white movie.”

In November of 2018, a friend gave her a sample of THRIVE, and she was impressed by the simplicity of the program. Not only that, “but on Day 1, I could actually feel it working in my body,” says Cooper, who couldn’t believe THRIVE “could help with so many different things: energy, mental clarity, joint support. . .it blew me away!”

Cooper was equally surprised when her friend introduced her to the opportunity to Promote THRIVE. “I couldn’t believe the business structure is so simple,” she says, “and that the promos and compensation plans are unmatched. You’re really set up to win.”

Cooper left her previous company and signed up as a Promoter, earning all of her early bonuses, hitting her 12K VIP rank her second month, and reaching the 80K rank in her fourth month. A year later, in March 2020, she catapulted her business to the 200K rank.

“I sprinkle who I am into my business, and that’s been everything.”

What’s the secret to her fast growth? “Believe it or not, I’m an extroverted introvert,” she says. “I have a big personality, but I can also get overstimulated.” So, while Cooper says she always shows her face on social media, doing live broadcasts “isn’t my favorite thing.”

Instead, she works hard to engage on social media with people who have similar interests as she does. For instance, as a hockey wife (Cooper’s husband coaches the University of Alabama hockey team), she often reaches out to other hockey wives who are caught up in their husbands’ fast-paced lifestyles. A longtime fur mama whose yellow lab recently passed away, Cooper has been connecting with other dog lovers as she looks for a new puppy. And as a new homeowner, she’s developing relationships with other homeowners to swap ideas. Within these groups, Cooper likes to show people how THRIVE can help them.

“For me, working this business is not about a paycheck,” she says. “I lead my business with a servant’s heart. When you impact people’s lives, the money will come.”

Her advice to other Promoters is to “really break down the three to five things that represent you,” she says. “Then find people like you that you can help.”

Now, looking back on her life before THRIVE, Cooper says, she can’t believe how much things have changed. “I’m now living my life in color!”
